Welcome to the home of my original compositions and arrangements!

I compose many types of music spanning a number of styles and settings:  Instrumental music for performance (for ensembles of any size - orchestra or band), choral music, music for solo piano (and also piano and orchestra), tracks that are suitable for soundtrack or multimedia use and more.  The style of my music can best be described as cinematic / classical.  It is tonal music that borrows both from the structure and/or harmonic practices of 19th and 20th century Classical and Romantic music, seamlessly merged with the common practices of the music we hear in movies. It is melody based and typically has an emotional arc to it which makes it very accessible and well received by audiences.  The difficulty level of my compositions range from intermediate to advanced.

I hope you take some time to listen to some of my music while you are here.  If you find something your group might like to perform, reach out to me through the contact page.  Additionally, if you have a specific need for original new music or an arrangement for your specific group, please reach out to me as well.

Here are what others are saying about my music.......

“It is a great pleasure to say a few words about this wonderful composer.  His adaptation of his “Bells of Valhalla” and a work written especially for Southern California Brass Consortium, “Manic March” are both wonderfully crafted and received with great acclaim by both our audience and the musicians.  I look forward to conducting more of his works and am happy to collaborate with such a talented composer.” - Hector Salazar, Music Director, Southern California Brass Consortium
